Presentation Description Title: Recipes for Success in Construction Management Description: Have you ever wondered why challenging projects often go smoothly, yet simple projects often wind up in claims and litigation? It often has little to do with the quality of the design or the nature of the work, and can instead hinge upon the how diligently the CM team manages not only the work itself but the relationships with the contractor and other project stakeholders. This presentation will focus on the finer points of CM and offer up simple tips and tricks that can be employed to deliver a successful project and create lasting, fruitful business relationships in the process. |
About the Speaker Brett Margosian currently serves as Director of Construction Management Services at Tanner Pacific, Inc., but spent most of his career in the public sector managing the construction phase of large, ambitious capital improvement programs as a Senior Civil Engineer at East Bay Municipal Utility District and most recently as Construction Division Manager at Contra Costa Water District. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Memphis (his hometown) and is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. |
