AWARDS

INDIVIDUAL AND PROJECT AWARDS

NOMINATION PERIOD CLOSES APRIL 30

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Beginning in 2026, all SF Section ASCE award nominations must originate at the Branch level. Submissions will first be reviewed and recognized within each Branch. Branch-level winners will then advance to the Section for further review and selection. Section winners will be submitted to Region 9 for final consideration. Region 9 typically presents its awards in conjunction with the California Infrastructure Symposium, held in the spring of the following year.

Nominations received after the deadline will not be considered for the current award cycle, but may be eligible for consideration in the following year, provided all eligibility criteria are met.

All active Section members may submit nominations to the corresponding Branch.  Specific criteria governing each Individual Award must also be satisfied.

PROJECT AWARD NOMINATION FORMS

The Project Awards celebrate exceptional civil engineering projects within the San Francisco Section that have been substantially completed in the past two years. Each nomination will be considered alongside other submissions from the same Branch. A map showing the geographic regions associated with each Branch is available at the link below.
