Dr. Marc Beutel and Dr. Siddaiah Yarra gave an excellent presentation of the engineering programs and research going on at UC-Merced, as well as the aspirations of the new Student Chapter which our Branch now will support.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony – September 18th at Luncheon

We haven’t had an Order of the Engineer ceremony in years. So, we’ve scheduled one at the close of our September luncheon. If you would like to be inducted, the cost is only $15 and there are no dues or meetings ever. ASCE YMF White Water Rafting Trip

The ASCE YMF took on the Kings River! Experienced white water rafters and newcomers alike escaped the valley heat for an afternoon by hopping into inflatable rafts with a river guide and navigating the Class III rapids upstream of Pine Flat Lake. Despite the picture, everyone made it down the rapids and back to camp in one piece! If this sounds like your kind of adventure, reach out to the YMF next spring to book your spot in the raft!
