Past-President – One year term
The President is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. He/She works collaboratively with board members and the executive director to support Section activities. The Past-President also oversees and manages the annual Section Awards program and annual Life Member recognition.
President – One year term
The President is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. He/She works collaboratively with board members and the executive director to set organizational goals.
President Elect – One year term
The President Elect is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. He/She Works collaboratively with board members and the association staff to meet organizational goals set by the President and BOD. The president-elect actively prepares to carry out the duties of the office of president and works with the outgoing president to ensure a smooth handover of presidential responsibilities. The President-Elect is prepared to assume the leadership role when the president is unavailable.Â
Vice-President – One year term
The Vice-President is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. Working with the board of directors and association staff, the vice president plans, develops and enforces policies and objectives for the organization to ensure it maintains its values and meets established goals.Â
Secretary – Two year term
The Secretary is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. The Secretary prepares and maintains board records, such as minutes and ensures the accuracy and security of the records. The secretary is prepared to assume the leadership role when the president, president elect, and vice president are unavailable.
Treasurer – Two year term
The board Treasurer is an executive and voting member of the board of directors of ASCE SF Section. The treasurer will offer guidance to the President in ensuring good fiscal planning, decision-making and oversight at a governance level.
